The Salida Fiber Festival, in cooperation with the Salida Creative District, is very pleased to present the film “The Wool Islands: A celebration of wool and knitting in the Faroe Islands”, featuring Sissal Kristiansen, who will be present to talk about her documentary and engage in Q&A with the audience. Sissal will also be a vendor at the festival, sharing with Brena Smith, The Dye Smith. The film will be shown in the SteamPlant Event Center theater following the Grand Opening of the Fiber Art Exhibition, which starts at 5:30pm, on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
